...passed away of a heart attack three years ago, I had to grow up fast. I became a “leader” to my sisters. It definitely took courage to help my mom get through those difficult times. Sometimes I didn’t think I could do it, but I knew that I was doing what my dad wanted me to do. I was being what he taught me to be…a courageous leader. He was the model of leadership and that’s what I want to be. You know…I can have vision and I know what reality is. I was raised with the morals and ethics that great men possess. But out of all of these traits, courage is the most difficult to gain; it is also the most important.
