The U C R reports show that the burglary rate has went down from 2003 to 2004. In 2004 the U C R reports shown the burglary rate at about 500. Which shows there wasn’t a major decrease in the report. The U C R reports show that each year the rate decreases instead of increases. The Clearwater community also helps with crime control. They have programs like neighborhood watch. Neighborhood watch is a program when neighbors report anything-suspicious behavior. Police also keeps track of old offenders. When a crime does happen those are the first people to be confronted.
