... ride for hours with your friends and family through the dunes. They have drag races almost every night. That’s when everybody breaks out their sooped up motorcycles and race down a strip of sand. There isn’t really a specific spot where they race, everyone just parks along side each other on two sides so that there is a runway in the middle of them. There aren’t any lights or people that tell them when to go either; they can either count down themselves or just go. When I went down the drags with my family, we all just pulled our quads up next to one another and then as soon as I saw them take off, I took off too. It’s fun to watch people race down the drags because most of them are really fast. Some of the sand rails have really big engines in them and can do wheelies down the drags. People show off on their quads and dirt bikes too by riding wheelies all the way down the drags or as long they can. The drags aren’t the only fun thing in Glamis though.
