Random thoughts on music...
...ck on a person's musical tastes is treated almost like an attack on that person's character. People get very attached to their music, because in my opinion music displays a person's emotions, or even one's outlook on life, more accurately than any other art form. Stating one band, etc. is better than another only breeds animosity... Although everyone, myself included, is guilty of arguing over opinions concerning music; however, they're just that... opinions. No matter how big one's ego may be, no one has the right to judge art. Everyone is entitled to their preferences, but no one can deem what music is "good" or "bad"... I like "bad" music sometimes... There are some days I really get off on "bad" tunes, and there are some days I don't like "good" music. Take Jazz for example, I don't want to listen to it during the summer months. I don't need Jazz when it's hot outside. During the summertime I listen to "total crap", but when the temperature begins to fall, people light their fireplaces, and the vents blow a year's worth of dust out... I like to curl u...
