Why I prefer taking public transportation rather than driving.
...e else drive you to your destination is an advantage. When you are driving, for the most part you are watching traffic, and you miss a lot of the scenery. If you are riding, just think of all the scenery you get to indulge in. It’s is a beautiful world out there, and we miss a lot of it while we drive. Sometimes I physically get tired of driving. And, I’m sure that most will agree that, it is not unheard of to “get tired of driving”. Driving, also offers more advantages. When you transfer from one bus to another, you get physical exercise. It may not seem like you are getting a lot of exercise at first, but after doing it repetitively you will start to notice the difference. Although most people may not think they can obtain mental exercise while riding the bus, they can. That’s because they don’t have time to while they are busy driving. This is good practice, but by taking the bus you don’t have the traffic to think about, thus giving you more time to think about other things. This proves that it is healthier, both physically and mentally to take public transportation. Meeting interesting people on the bus is another advantage. Sometimes you see people you haven’t seen in long time; maybe a high school friend, a long lost relative, or maybe just someone you’ve met for the first time who just made your day. In most cases they would wait until a law official pulls over to give them assistance. In another case the traffic may be so congested that, it may take a while for somebody to even realize you are in trouble. If that happens you could end up being late for work. So it is an advantage to take the bus in this case, because you don’t have the burden of having to get out, and do your own repairs. There are only a few things I don’t agree with in taking public transportation. Believe it or not, sometimes public transportation runs late too. If this does happen, guess wha...
