Along with the Praxis Series, teacher certification testing is also another process that some states require. This is the testing of potential teachers prior to state certification, designed to admit to the profession only those teachers who are competent in basic knowledge and pedagogical skills. The biggest factor in determining your certification is passing a state standardized test. Although the previous two tests are controversial and optional, the chances are good that passing a state standardized test will be part of your specific certification process program.
