... the animal experiment is certainly cruel to make our animal cousins suffer because many of them, parallel with humankind, are also able to think (to some extent) and certainly to feel pain. They should have the right to be treated as beings of value in themselves, not as the means to human ends. For example, infecting monkeys with the AIDS virus, feeding animals like mice with something toxic or even radiating them is not only insensible but unacceptable as well. And this is also an insult to the living right of our human beings. And animal experiment also has some side-effect while its being carried out. As a recent research conducted by National Wildlife Protection committee shed light on that side-effect during our animal experiments should be what we focus on most. Indeed, many unheard off fatal contagions like SARS, bird-flu might stern from some animal as well as be infected by them.
