...ing to see all the young cheerleaders come out and do what they do best. The time is passing and all the cheerleaders are excited except one, my sister Mayra. She is about fifteen and half years old, she joined cheerleading this year and so far she has had no trouble on getting use to it. However; she has never perform in public, in fact she does not like it. Ten minutes before going to the stage she decides not to participate and let her squad and family down. She is under a lot of tension, she obviously does not know what to do since she does like cheerleading and she knows she can do it, it is just that she is scare and the stress is not e letting her think well. Ever since I have known my sister, I have seen her give up a lot of opportunities just because she lets her fears conquered her. That day she comes up to me and ask me for an advice as a big sister I know I have to tell her not to quit, but most of the time I just go along with what she says so that way she will not disturbed me with her problems. However, this time my parents are involved since they want to see my sister cheer. I remember I told her not to quit and that everything is going to be fine and that I am pretty sure that she is going to do well. It is then when I understand my roll as a big sister and the fact that she is nervous. I obviously do not want my sister to be a quitter specially if I know that cheerleading is something that she likes a lot and she is good at. The time to perform arrives and she seems to be handling it well. The cheer looks awesome and so does she, of course, it is easy to tell that she is forcing a smile but that does not matter since she is doing so well.
