Injustice
...ect feelings of low self-worth, early childhood abuse, neglect, witnessing violence at home, violence in the community or in the media, and easy access to weapons. All these factors lead to the reasons that innocent people are the ones that are harmed. At one point Sharif choose to engage in the same life as his friends. He committed heinous acts and senseless violence. His obscure lifestyle landed him in jail, were he realized that it was time for a dramatic change. While in jail Sharif was introduced to the Islamic religion which made him feel at peace with himself. He then returned to the streets which had a strong hold on his life determined to help his friends change there vigilant ways. While trying to change his friends Sharif's life was claimed in a drive by shooting. However, O-Dog's life was spared in the drive by shooting. This seems to be ironic since he lived a corrupt life and never had intentions of changing. Robbing, murdering, and selling drugs is what O-Dog's life consist of. One of O-Dog's many crimes was at a liquor store. O-Dog started to rob the store but instead of just leaving he decided to kill the owner. After the crime was over he would watch the tape over and over and just laugh at the way he murdered the man in his own store. Drive bys were also his specialty he was not scared to just kill someone even in broad day light. Sharif tried to rescue his friend from the "street life" but O-Dog was to gone. He was blinded by his surrounding and found pleasure and delight in taking people lives. Taking a persons' life gave him a sense of power and enjoyment thus, making him believe that he was in control. Sharif believed that everyone could make a change in there life. Ultimately his choice in not changing his surrounding and the people who he associated himself with caused him his life. So, is that saying that we should not help the people that we care about get out of horrific situations? You can not stop living your life, and if you never help your fellow man then people will stay confined to their malevolent ways. People will continue to be victims of injustice, for being a law abiding...
