Would my life be different

...a significant effect on the feelings and even lives of those around me. It has taught me that respect towards others will be reciprocated and will instill self worth within me. Those around me once considered being reckless and foolhardy “cool”. Since this change in my life, I have come to realize two very important things. You are not invincible no matter how strong, fast, or smart you are. I now put much more thought into the decisions that I make. For the first time, I now weigh the consequences of my actions. The second is that without a strong set of personal values a person will never be able to be the person they wanted to be as a kid. The kind of person that you wanted to be when you still believed that the world was still innocent. An honest and sincere person; a person of value. What would I know of a person born and raised on a farm in Wisconsin or from Poland? Why do they talk so funny? What are they wearing? I have been to more places than many people I know, but it took the Army to show me how sheltered I was.
