My First Income Tax Experience
...heck and my W-2 form. The W-2 form is the form where it shows you how much you made and how much you were taxed and it’s also the form you need so you can file for you tax return. Hence when I got it I went straight to H&R Block with my mom, the place where my parents do their tax return. H&R Block is a place where you can file for your taxes and they also do financial stuff there to. As soon as I got there the place looked like it was straight out of the movies. It looked very unreal; it had funny looking low hanging light fixtures and H&R Block posters and pamphlets everywhere. I had to sign in and wait in line of about 5 people. My mom and I had to sit and wait for about an hour. So finally when it was my turn I was very excited and I didn’t expect to take to long because my taxes were so simple to do. My mom and I followed the man guy who was going to do my taxes. He took us to a cubicle in the back corner of the building. When we reached the cubicle me and my mom sat down and I gave him my W-2 form. He started by asking me for my Social Security Number which I gave him and then he started to type in all my information that was on my W-2 form into his computer. He asked me a whole lot of yes and no questions. He went through about 6 different screens and he said he was done.
