The Kent State massacre occurred at Kent State University, Ohio, and involved the shooting of students by the National Guard on May 4, 1970. Over the course of four days, Kent State students protested against an American invasion of Cambodia and it resulted in the tragic and undefined deaths of nine students. ... Kent State Universitys Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) building, an unstable, old, wooden military science barracks, was attacked and burned to the ground. ... Did the authorities stay away so the students would burn the building and create an excuse to bring the Ohio National Guard to Kent State? ... Why has no student ever been convicted of arson at Kent State in 1970? Who really burned the ROTC building at Kent State? ...
