... Computer viruses are self-replicating programs, which cannot exist without a host. A computer virus is simply a set of computer instructions or computer code that is written by a person. This code attaches to a part of the normal computer operating system or computer program. This virus can delete information on your computer, or even crash your hard disk. These programs can be relatively harmless, or they can completely harm your computer. However, some viruses may just be a slight aggravation for you and will just give you pop ups.
Viruses are spread from computer to computer. A virus can be attached to any file that you copy to your computer and also if you download files.
