He got along with Angel very well, they had a close bond together. Angel did not look very well, she was pale and seemed so fragile. Soon he found out the reason. When he lived with them, he found out Jordan was very abusive. He would constantly hit and punch Monique, Gerald and Angel. He also found out Jordan was molesting Angel. He was so sick and disgusted by this constant torture and abuse that he called the police. Jordan was sent to jail for five years, and the mother was so sad and heartbroken. Even though Jordan abused her, she still loved him and was so angry that Gerald did that. She yelled at the children and she even went back to her old ways of neglecting and not caring. Life for Gerald and Angel was going great until they found out Jordan came back into their lives. He came out of jail and the mother took him back. Since he’s Gerald’s stepfather and Angel’s father he had the right to live there. Jordan claimed that he has changed and didn’t act at all like he had before. Gerald and Angel didn’t trust him at all, they thought he was up to no good. For awhile he was behaving well, he didn’t abuse anyone. Monique on the other hand was still a slave to Jordan. She had to please and satisfy him to his every need. She was still in love with him and she would do anything for him. One night she was getting a pack of cigarettes for him, when a taxi driver hit her. She had sustained some bad injuries and she had to take pills to relieve her pain. Soon she became addicted to the pills and just did nothing all day but watch television. One day when Gerald and Monique weren’t home the worst thing happened. Angel thought she was alone at home but little did she know that Jordan was there. Angel went to go boil some food in the kitchen and then went to her room. When Angel was in her room she saw Jordan had came into her room. He was drunk and she was very scared of what he would do. He grabbed her and he molested her.
