...r of Caesar. While Brutus loves Caesar as a friend, he opposes the ascension of any single man to the position of a dictator, and he fears that Caesar aspires to such power. He must rely on his impeccable sense of honor and his ability to completely separate his public life from his private in order to stop the fate of becoming made inferior and being treated unjustly. In the end, his strong character traits lead him in the correct direction of eliminating the threat of Caesar. Again one can see that it takes a great deal of courage and bravery to stand up to a person who could have you killed in an instant. This is shown by observing the Holocaust, and the Jews opposition of Hitler. Even though they could be killed for anything they said about Hitler, they felt that they must free their minds from the hatred and express their concern for their way of life. Many people were killed for voicing their thoughts about Hitler. Again one can see how people were treated for speaking out against the class system of Medieval Europe.
