FLOOD STORY IN THE GENESIS AND THE GREEK FLOOD MYTH
...ho bore them sons. They were the heroes of old, the men of renown.” (Genesis Chapter 6, p.1) Human beings didn’t act upon the “Ten Commandments” that the God had sent. And God had got angry because of the man’s defiance to the rules. And it is continued in the book that “When the LORD saw how great was man's wickedness on earth, and how no desire that his heart conceived was ever anything but evil, he regretted that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was grieved. So the LORD said: "I will wipe out from the earth the men whom I have created, and not only the men, but also the beasts and the creeping things and the birds of the air, for I am sorry that I made them."”(Genesis Chapter 6, p.1) God, who is mentioned as “The Lord” in the book, decided to punish all human beings because of their sins. However, in the Greek Mythology, “Zeus, desirous of putting Lycaon 2 to the test, came to him in the likeness of a day-labourer.
