What is LoveIs the Scarlet letter about love

...study to get smarter so Hester would love him. Whether that is true or not , it’s a better decision because anyone would get very bored , and Roger Chillingworth said that in the prison cell when he visited her. It was more of an attraction between the two , and that fact of boredom. Noone can blame her for anything. Hester Prine was a proud person. She was smart, hard-working, and was one of the most beautiful person in town. She is someone who always seems to be needing something in her life to keep her occupied and happy. Since Roger was gone with school and the Indians she needed something to do and Arthur was it. Now this could be a good start for a romance novel. In fact in today’s world many romance novels and movies go like this. The person’s spouse has a “busy job” per say and they are gone a lot and do not care enough for the kids and the opposite side of the wedded couple because sometimes of their job , but also sometimes because of the fact that they are cheating on the other one. The person who suspects the cheating or does not like it then usually gets curious and meets someone somehow and they have a secret relationship on the side. Even though impossible to stay together it seems because of the marriage and what not, they just continue to see each other on the side, but this is not the case. They begin to want to be with each other more and more and they fall in love and it becomes stronger and stronger. One reason of this is because of Arthur being afraid to reveal it to the people because of the fact that is he is so well loved within the community that he does not want to let them down because he fears that the town will be dismantled because in those days the religion was the strongest thing that those people had going for them. Whether he had feelings for Hester or not, he should of admitted the sin because it was hard for everyone involved to go through with everything because noone knew who the father was. In this book they do not really show love at all except for Hester and Pearl. Although in my mind Arthur has a love for the daughter he produced. I think if it were not for Pearl he would not of told anyone that he was the father. Pearl was the one who made Arthur become warmer and warmer to the situation. Hester may of loved Arthur too. There are a few hints that tell the reader this because Pearl was given the chance to leave town for good, but she stayed, although it was at the edge of town. Pearl was teased constantly and this was the reason she lived on the edge. But if it bothered her why did she not leave for good and go to another town. A reason for this is because of maybe her love or Arthur. She may of felt she could not leave Arthur. She may of wanted to be with him forever like a lot of people in love and that is how a lot of love novels go. Another reason is because she was also allowed to take the letter off at anytime. It was almost as if she was proud to wear the heralded letter on her chest. But the reason she may not of wanted to ...
