Liberalism vs. Conservative
...to school (five years). The conservative view is to not have children. Or, rather, not have children unless you are medically insured and can afford all of the expenses. Which, honestly, isn't a bad view. However, it is pushing this very far by coming off as that only the wealthy and middle class people are allowed to have children. I do not believe in this, I believe that it is equally the mother’s and the father’s choice on whether or not they can or want to have the child. If abortion is done away with, there will be numerous amounts of orphan homes and or children dying before the age of 3 years old. So I would say that over the viewpoint of banning abortion I am more liberal about the situation. The next topic to address is the views of a homosexual marriage or even relationship. The conservative view is that the government has the right to discriminate against an individual based upon with whom an individual is sleeping with. The conservative view even goes as far as to say what sex an individual is allowed to marry. I agree with the conservative views over this topic. I feel that we were not created to have sexual relations with our own sex male or female. If everyone in the world had same sex relations the world would end in about 80 years or so, because there would be no reproduction. So over the views of same sex relationships I fall more to the conservative viewpoint. The final topic I want to discuss is gun control. The conservative view is that all Americans are entitled to own guns. Their reasoning behind this is relatively simple, self-defense, sport, hunting, and the fact that the US Constitution says it.
