School uniforms should be mandatory
... many acts of violence and theft because of clothing, students who can’t afford nice shoes may try to steal them off of another person, or steal a shirt out of their gym locker. Other times the upper crowd may make fun of someone because of what they are wearing and may cause a conflict. Uniforms would stop this theft and arguments. Bare 2 Empowering Students with Discipline A safe and disciplined learning environment is the first necessity of a good school. Young people who know the basic American way, and know how to receive and give respect learn better in schools. In addition to the increasing violence in our schools, many parents, teachers, and school officials have come to see school uniforms as one positive and creative way to reduce discipline problems and increase school safety. Invading of School Intruders During school hour’s students would be wearing uniforms. Invaders would be more than likely be wearing out-sider clothing. It would greatly help out facility spot people who aren’t supposed to be there. Usually invaders or visitors are there to either talk to a teacher or to speak with their child. But you never know what could happen. Decreases Gang Violence Many schools have trouble with gangs. Usually you would see people wearing red or blue. And as everyone knows they have conflicts with each other. I hear on the news all the time about gang members (young students) who have killed another student because they wasn’t wearing their color.
