He created the stranger in his mind and acually sometimes lived his life. The author was really who murdered the people and burnt the house down. In conclusion some things are worse than they seem. A person that you think you know, and believe is perfectly normal may really be a psyco killer. Everybody thought that the author was perfectly normal. They simply thought that he was a recluse.
