...an amazing political background that is also perfect for being re-elected. Not only has he been President of the United States once, but he has also been the Governor over Texas. During his years as a governor over Texas, Bush focused on environmental issues. Another humanitarian effort that bush has done while governor was improving the education of Texas dramatically. Before Bush was governor over Texas he served in the Texas Air National Guard during the Vietnam Conflict. This shows the respect and pride Bush has for his country. Additionally, Bush has the right ideas to lead this country to a better future, such as his stance on abortion. Bush’s view on abortion is pro-life, which is where every unborn child has the right to be protected, just like any citizen of the United States has a right to be protected. Likewise, just like every citizen of the United States deserves some sort of shelter, Bush says that every unborn child should have a home made for him or her before their birth. On the other hand, Kerry strongly disagrees with bans on abortions. He would also allow partial-birth abortions, saying that since this is banned it undermines the rights of women’s right to choose. However, Bush sees that abortions, especially partial-birth abortions, are inhumane and unconstitutional, since the constitution has promised security. The action Bush has taken against abortions has been banning partial-birth abortions and reducing abortions overall.
