I quickly joined “Toastmasters” to be coached on effective public speaking skills that I felt would increase my confidence and ultimately reduce my anxiety. I had no ideal what lay ahead at “Toastmasters.” My first three speeches were “shaky” at best. However, I slowly improved becoming more comfortable not only in preparation, but in the delivery as well.
