students

...o. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with being like this. The good thing is that they make smart choices when it comes to doing bad things. They know that drugs and alcohol is bad and that it will mess them up in school, so they resist peer pressure. The smart kids make the right decisions and they are rarely faced with the issues that other teenagers are faced with. Some of those issues are drugs, partying, and unprotected sex. They set an epitome example for others. Next, we have the smart, laid back student. They are real smart, yet they know when they should stop stressing and have fun. I am this type of student. Teachers are not real happy with this student most of the time. They get frustrated at the students because they have admirable grades, but they have a mischievous behavior. That is the case with my French teacher. She gets malcontented with me because I use most of my effort on palavering in class. Even though I chit chat in class greatly, I have a high grade in that class (Well I did last semester). Another characteristic of this student is that they are surrounded by friends who are characterized as the bad student. I still have exemplary grades (straight A’s last semester), but they are all regular classes. Last year I made poor choices that prevented me from being accepted in AP classes. Since I am so “laid back,” I don’t always complete homework on time, or study for test. But I have the potential of being smart, and this year I am trying merciless to get a good ACT score to get a full scholarship for school. I am turning into the “smart student!” Lastly, there is the disobedient, naughty student who just goes to school because it is mandatory. This student typically has low grades. Their academic performance is not at the passing level. They tend to never do their homework. They have the low level classes like Applied classes. Even though these classes are at the middle school level, they still don’t pass these types of classes. They don’t care about school and don’t complete assignments on time. Another characteristic of this student is a bad family life. These kinds of students have problems at home which prevent them from really having the opportunity to better themselves through school. Their parents are not involved in their life either. These students have an...
