Justine was then charged with the murder and then executed. The creature is confused he has to learn everything on his own. He finds out how ugly he is and is upset that his creator doesn’t even love him. He has to learn how to talk by himself. He watches a family and learns from their feelings and from their actions. He almost feels as if he is close to the family and finds that they are really nice people and that he would get to know them. He begins to tell the old man his situation and the other members come back and chase him away because of his appearance. The monster swears revenge against all people and especially his creator. At this time Victor has no idea where his monster is. Frankly I don’t think the cares as long as the monster is not harming him. When the monster finally meets up with Victor. He admits that he wants to be loved; he wants to have a friend. Everything that he has done has been out of loneliness. Victor finally thinking of his creature wants to do something for someone other than himself or his family, he reluctantly decides to create a friend or a mate. But once again he thinks of himself and decides not to give his creation something to love. That is when the monster lost his cool. The monster warns Victor of the consequences of his actions. “ It is well. I go; but remember, I shall be with you on your wedding-night.” Again Victor is not taking responsibility for his creation. He is frightened and remembers his creations treat. When Victor tries to leave he doesn’t get too far. He is arrested and accused of Henry Clerval’s murder. Henry was Victors long time friend, so when Victor sees Henry dead, he reacted with horror.
