...pth of field also came out pretty well. I took it outside the school in between a row of trees and lamp posts to give it a nice effect. There are a few things that I find wrong with this picture. The contrast is not very good, the lighting on the top of the picture made the top of the first lamp post lighter, and the focus isn’t great. If I re-shot this photo, I would try to fix these few blemishes. The second project was my personal favorite. I really enjoyed looking for moving things and trying to get different effects with them. I was very happy with my stop action. It was very difficult to do because I needed to snap the picture very quickly to get the cat in the air. I really like the compositional structure of this photo. The contrast, lighting, and exposure are all good, but the tone is not. The negatives came out cloudy and the picture seems to be a little blurry. The panning picture was very difficult to take. It seemed complex to move the camera at the speed of the object while taking the picture. I was actually surprised to see that mine came out alright. The composition is okay and the truck is well centered. However, there is a bush in front of the truck that I didn’t even notice when I was taking the picture. The contrast is good but the lighting and exposure are a little off. I should have burned a little bit on the right side of the photo to make it fit with the rest of the picture. My special effect photo also came out well. I had my dad hold a firecracker out and twirl it in circles this is very clearly illustrated in the picture. This was the only picture that I didn’t have a lot of trouble printing. It was very simple and came out well-structured. The zones were very difficult for me, especially white on white. The photo itself is nice, but there are a lot of structural problems. I think I overexposed it a little bit and the whites are not white enough. One thing that might have thrown off the colors a little bit is that the white sheet in the background got cut off and there was some green there. I think that everybody would agree that this was the most difficult assignment of the class. The black on black was a lot easier to me.
