After hitting the big shot against Georgetwon to win the championship his freshman year, Michael went nowhere but up while he was breaking records and improving his lottery status for the NBA. He set the bar for anyone who dreams to be a tar heel and will never be forgotten as the skinny freshman that brough Dean Smith to the promise-land. Being drafted 3rd by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984 draft was only the beginning for Michael. Just coming off a gold medal win in the summer olympics, he trained night and day so he can prove to be the real deal coming out of college as a junior. He came into the league wearing gold chains and bright red shoes and he was thought to be a show-boat by many.
