Agam has won many awards and prizes for his unique work, he has delivered lectures about his theories and experiments at many art schools, conventions, universities and museums. His work connects art and technology, he combines art with literature, technology, music, the kinetic art uses everything to let the viewer understand and feel the art. Agam’s relations to Judaism and Israel: Born in Israel, to a Rabbi and can trace his ancestry back six generations to the founder of the Chabad movement. As apposed to his father, who devoted his whole life to the study of religious Jewish matters, Agam might be thought of as a rebel to go to the arts but he considers himself somehow as a visual continuation of his father’s quest for spirituality. Amongst his many artworks, there are many with the Jewish star (the star of David), Agam also created a memorial at the western wall, a sculptor at the Hadera Yeshiva, and many other sculptors and artworks created for various locations in Israel. Agam’s Kinetic sculptor “Star of peace” was presented as the Ben-Gurion Award for an outstanding between the peoples of he middle east to president Anwar Sadat, prime minister Menachem Begin and President Jimmy Carter in 1979.
