Ephesians 5:25 I would like to share many more comparisons from God's Word with you; however, these will suffice to make the point you shall soon see. Now I will list an almost identical list for Adam as a comparison.  Adam, when first created had the body of a man; however, it took the breath of God to make him live.  With Adam's sinless body and soul of which God literally toiled with His own hands to create, he was closer to being like God than any other person in history, other than Jesus Christ; the second Adam.  As like Christ, Adam was sinless and perfect and both of their actions would affect all of humankind.  Adam was the representative of humankind in their downfall.  God was not made from Adam but Adam from God and it was God whom Adam served. Adam also had a unique relationship with God and no others will have a like relationship until Christians receive their new bodies.  Adam; before his fall, was clothed in the perfect Light of God, therefore Satan (the serpent) knew he could never break the relationship that bonded Adam to God so he turned his energy on the only other person who could influence Adam and that was Eve.  Just as the Church is the bride to Christ, so was Eve the bride of Adam and it was she who was made ready for Adam.  As Christ gave His life for the Church because of His great love for it, so Adam also gave his life for Eve when she partook of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil The point I am trying to make for those of you who have not seen the similarities as yet is that Adam knowingly sinned so that Eve would not die alone in her transgression. The chances of Adam falling under the influence of Satan were as unlikely as Christ failing in the wilderness; however, both died so their brides would not die alone and forever.
