...oint that Marx brings out is that countries are losing their own self-sufficiency. He seems to state that as a result of losing self-sufficiency, each country is losing their own identity through globalization at the same time. I can understand why he states this, but I don’t know if it is true. One thing I like about globalization is that we can easily learn about each other’s culture so easily. If anything, I feel that because each country is losing some self-sufficiency that the slight differences between us is that much stronger. I completely agree with this idea. This is a major problem in our world today and we need to do something about it. I don’t know how we can set industry standards for workers. I would hope that we would do something within the next fifteen years to fight this battle. The problem is that I do like the idea of a free-market society and this would contradict that idea. I just hate the idea of how rich one man becomes from his hired workers doing hard labor. One of his ideas I like to point out is how there will be no more private property. I like this idea, but then I don’t. Marx states that capital is a social power, not a personal one. I like this idea because we don’t really need to own anything if eve...
