Do you find Parsons's theories too simplistic? Why or why not?
...ty not just the rich or poor. It is actually just more information like the other theorist add on to other aproaches. However, Parson's had good thinkging too. I think it's because he looks into the structural-functional paradigm in culture as a complex for meeting the human needs as to cultural values, giving meaning to life and to keep people together regardless of the different cultures everyone has a way of functioning in their own life. Parsons’s structural functionalism theories were too simplistic indeed. Parson's former student, Merton, challenged some of his extreme aspects of structural functionalism.
