Frost creates scenes in nature that are mostly pleasant and have various meanings. Frost creates sounds and scenes that captivate the reader and bring them into the poets eyes. His poems are often described to give pleasure to the scenes he is describing as in one of his most famous poems, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. In this poem Frost describes a wooded scene where the snow is falling on a dark evening in winter. He creates for the reader the chance to see and hear the effects of his words, and leaves them not wanting to leave the snowy woods. He shows a love for the woods and a passion for what lies within them, Frost shows an innocence in the woods and a passion for appreciating the pleasant environment as he passes by on that dark snowy night. Frost talent as a poet can be seen when he writes about the simplest of everyday chores as in his poem The Pasture. Frost describes a daily chore that he takes pleasure in doing through his eyes. Through the poem the reader can tell that he truly appreciates his life , the work that comes with everyday living and how he can apply chores to his poetry. Another poem that shows a pleasure in life is Mending Wall, in this poem Frost shows how a simple chore that doesn’t make much sense to the speaker can be appreciated. The speakers neighbor takes pleasure in mending the fence every year even though fixing the fence is not totally necessary. He feels that fixing the fence is necessary to keep a good relationship between the two neighbors.
