V-103 Welcomes Back Ryan Cameron

Porsche Foxx, whose real name is Stephanie Calhoun, was fired from V-103 six weeks after Dekalb County police arrested her for driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, and suspended drivers license. Cameron started his career in 1990 as an intern, and later he became the night jock. As you may know already this is not Cameron’s first experience with V-103. Mary Catherine Sneed hired him at V-103 when she was there in 1991 and when she moved to Hot 107.9 in 1996; she took Cameron there as well. At Hot 107.9 Cameron made about $500,000 a year. Last year Cameron received even more great ratings to add to his career. He beat V-103 three times in the past six Arbitron ratings quarters, receiving to most “play” among 18 to 34 year olds. Cameron compares his situation to that of baseball superstar shortstop Alex Rodriguez, who joined the Yankees last year and moved to third base to assist existing shortstop, Derek Jeter. When Cameron’s arrival was announced everyone was wondering about the future of V-103 morning host Frank Ski. Truth is, Frank Ski is not going anywhere! He will remain the morning host. Although Kemi Lane, an Atlanta on-line media watcher, believes “Ryan is going want that morning spot eventually,” we will just have to wait and see what happens as time goes by.
