For example, an emigrant from the West African nation of Senegal comes to America and takes an apartment in New York’s Bronx Borough. When four NYPD cops approach his door, because of a suspected rape (he was not a suspect), was shot at forty-one times. Nineteen shots hit him. Amadou Diallo was unarmed, and will never return to West Africa. Police officers that commit brutal acts get lenient punishments or nothing at all. For example, Rodeny King was stopped after a pursuit and was beaten by four police officers. Although the beating was recorded on videotape, a jury declared three officers not guilty of all charges. The other officer was acquitted of all chares except one. The other charge was later dropped. It was clear on the videotape that this man was brutally beaten. But yet, the officers got away with it.
