After this still many opposed this statement and started protests showing pictures and saying cruel statements, hurting those women who had made the decision of abortion. For example I was walking down Venice Beach, California with my little cousin. We saw the anti-abortion protest with many signs and human size pictures of dead babies. This left a great impact on my cousin and I. Technically if the protestants are trying to save children, then why are they traumatizing the children who pass by such graphic pictures? A matter of fact statistics show the death rate from abortion at all stages of development is 0.6 per 100,000 procedures. The risk of death associated with childbirth is about 11 times as high as that associated with abortion. So abortions as not as risky as it was before and women who want to get the procedure have better chance now. Women that do not have the right to choose with free will might have serious complications. Discovery of serious fetal anomalies, such as severe genetic disorders, or conditions in which the woman's health is threatened or aggravated by continuing her pregnancy. It can include certain types of infections, heart failure, malignant hypertension, including preeclampsia, out-of-control diabetes, serious renal disease, severe depression, suicidal tendencies. These are diseases not worth going through and abortion should stay legal for some women’s sake and because of their decision to choose. Anti-abortionists should not protest and stop the outrages pictures and statements they say, because they do not know every woman’s situation.
