...er is order in which people live their lives everyday. It is why there are bosses and employers or teachers and students. Social order is possible because of repeated patterns of social interaction. Social order was displayed clearly in this experiment. The prison guards took on their role of power and the prisoners took on their role of criminals. There were no questions. They were repeatedly told their roles and it just became their job. Zimbardo definitely argued his point convincingly. He also proved that there is no way a criminal sent to prison is going to come out a better man for society.
