...s, and notebook checks. I have an F in that class because I don’t apply any kinds of skills I that class. I also don’t turn in most of my homework because I don’t apply two key skills that I should use which are: time management and communicating with others through reading, writing, speaking and/or listening. I am saying I need to apply these selected skills because I don’t manage my time wisely I say that because I like to procrastinate too much for example I would play around and watch television or talk on the phone when I have homework to do. I also say I need to apply the communicating with others skill because I don’t ask questions when I don’t understand something in class. This semester I’m trying to improve for the better. In my physical education class we run, play sports, and learn how to meet deadlines. The way we learn how to meet deadlines is by finishing your run at a certain time. When I talk about meeting deadlines for P.E I mean to finish your run on time. But I always participate when it comes to playing sports. I can’t really think of any evidence. For my fourth period class I have English 1. To me English is not that hard because I really enjoy writing. For English we use many different kinds of skills like: meet deadlines, creating a neat product, which follows a set format, time management, and ability to produce a quality product. I chose to use all these skills because they help me write a great essay and book report. Last semester what brought my grade down was not turning in story questions from the class novels. The one skill that I need to improve on is communicating with others because I don’t ask enough questions. In English class we don’t really have a variety of homework assignments we just have various assignments such as book reviews, essays, and questions that we have to answer from the class novel. I’m not sure why my grade for English is that low. I think it is low because I don’t communicate with others. When the class is reading a novel I don’t pay attention so then when it comes time to answer the questions I’m not able to answer any of the questions because I don’t listen or pay attention. But this semester I’m trying to pay closer attention so I can get that grade up. Fifth period that is when I have health. While I am in health there aren’t many assignments are that assigned to us. For example the kind of work we do in that class is chapter homework packets, vocabulary worksheets, take video notes, and current events.
