The MGE of good and evil helped me express how I believed that the notion of “Good and Evil” was naive and ill founded. Because of this assignment, I have truly expressed my personality to others. The writing assignment where the class looked into Laurel’s eyes from the book about a girl having AIDS helped me see things from another perspective. I used this in life and some of my friends said that I matured a little. The Julius Caesar assignment was the most challenging assignment of the year that made me give all that I had into an assignment, and because it was one of the most recent essays of the year it shows how I did compared to early on in the year. The Autobiographical Incident Essay was one of my first assignments ever, and the essay was the assignment to explain one of our most life-threatening event of our life. It was when I broke my leg, and when I read the event again it really touched me on how when I broke my leg the Cross Country team helped me. It was also one of the first major writing assignments of the year, so it would help show how much I improved since the beginning of the year. Those assignments really touched me because they either effected my life, or I expressed my views strongly to others. However the most challenging and god forsaken was the Julius Caesar assignment. The Julius Caesar assignment was the most challenging not because of the hardships on the writing topic, but because of the strictness and rules that were given to writing it. The lyric analysis was the most fun assignment all year, because it was exploring my most favorite song of the year. I do not know if my writing has worsened over the year or if the strictness of the writing grading has drastically increased, but my grades have drastically suffered since the beginning of the year. I do not know, but my belief is that my writing has somehow gone slack. My writing habits have drastically decreased because before I used to write Fan fictions for fun everyday and it helped my writing to stay sharp, however nowadays with my Track I have often forgot about writing.
