Design/Quality Features AH-SUM snowboards are made with the latest construction techniques. We use a new ThinCap construction method to make our snowboards. We are proud of our birch wood-top-sheet with its clean look and extra durability. The durability is enhanced by our extremely durable coating that protects the birch wood-top-sheets from cosmetic damage. The ThinCap method tapers the cap rail off to form a thinner nose and tail, good for reducing swing weight and improving users response time. AH-SUM snowboards uses triax fiberglass to create a balanced flex pattern, rubber foil for increased adhesion and dampening. We also use a blended resin that creates exceptional bond with both the metallic and non-metallic parts of the board. The boards have a full-length wood core and a patented insert retention plate system. Packaging After researching the present snowboard manufacturing competition, packaging methods over the internet and conversing with potential carriers of our boards. The most popular and efficient ways to package AH-SUM snowboards and still stay within a our budget; would be to wrap each individual snowboard in shrink wrap and then place up to 5 snowboards into a cardboard box for shipping. See appendix ? for pricing. Perishability and Technical Nature. Because our products will not physically deteriorate or expire, we have decided to go with the just-in-time method of distributing. That way our boards arrive when ordered, just in time to be sold. As well, our products are being sold on our website and with help and support offered over the internet which means that our products will be distributed directly to our customers and specialty stores. Labeling Each snowboard will include what we call a Cheat Sheet. The Cheat Sheet contains the list of measurements of the snowboard (running length, waist width, sidecut depth, sidecut radius, stance width, nose width, tail width, nose height and tail height). It will also include the effective edge, stance location, weight range and binding sizes and suggested weight limitations. We will have a picture of our boards on the Cheat Sheet that shows where the specific measurements and areas are. Included with the board is a sheet that contains suggestions on appropriate care for the board as well as a copy of the warranty/guarantee and instructions. See appendix ? for logo, snowboard care. Branding Out products will all contain the AH-SUM brand name. All of our main boards will contain our logo and will be red and yellow.
