DEATHWATCH book report

... an additional one hundred dollars to accept the deal. Seeing no way out of it, Ben solemnly agreed. Madec went up to check his kill. Ben was a way behind him when he saw him coming back in such a hurry that he almost fell. As Madec ran down the mountain he turned and said “what do you know I missed him. I thought I had him cold, but I missed him.” Ben looked up and saw dark, almost black, red blood dripping down from the rock. Madec saw that Ben had seen the blood and said, “I’m a liar Ben, I didn’t miss, I shot a little female bighorn. After three days of pure will power, he reached the butte. Once he got there, he faced another challenge, the cliff face was almost vertical, completely smooth, and almost impossible to climb. After thoroughly examining all angles of the butte, he finally found an angle that with his will power might be attainable. He stacked up as many rocks as he could and started climbing. He forced with all of his might to make it to the top of the mountain and did. He got there and saw how the butte funneled in. Knowing how far he had gotten and realizing he was almost there he slid down the hard rock on his back down the funnel. Now he was very close to death and needed to find water soon or he would die. He was crawling along the cave floor when he saw the most beautiful thing in the world. It was a puddle of water surrounded by bird droppings. He ...
