Common-school advocates contended that free elementary education should be available to everyone, that it should be financed by public funds, and that it should be conducted in schools accountable not only to local school board but to state governments. 2005 In school now we have diverse transporation than what they had in the 1800's because now we have buses to get us to and from school they had to ride a horse to and from school. In school today we have advance tecnolgy because in the 1800's they did not have computers or anything like that. Now we have books to read out of and everything. Sometimes we get to watch a show called Channel1. 2155 In 2155 I pedict that the teacher will never give us homework...
