...r own kind. The movie ties with religion because of it’s connection with acceptance and communal values, their faith as well as their rituals. Religions are life giving, life guiding and positive. The positives about the tribes religion in comparison to ours is the community helps support the beliefs and faith. The religions both have rules and guidelines. Ours come through scriptures and tradition while their come through tradition. Some things are restricted and can cause people to not think for themselves, in the tribes case they do things strictly the way they believe is the way and until Ayla was adopted nothing had changed. Our religion however follows the 10 commandments that give guidance to live our lives like Christians to better and help us understand what path is the right path in life. Religion can also be harmful to a person by not allowing them to have much freedom for example to think on their own. In the movie Broud was very narrow minded because of his memories and he did not have a mind of his own. He was wrapped up in how things were believed to be and how the people were supposed to act that he never realized that people could chose to take another path away from the memories and traditions.
