Functionality will be tested by inputting data into the system and the outputs will be examined for precision. Recovery ability tests will need a simulation of various type of failure such as power failure, system breakdowns, head crashes and some similar scenarios. Then the performance tests will ensure ability of the system in handling the volume data given to it. And lastly, the usefulness tests which will ensure user friendliness and it will be decided by the user. Training System The new system would entail the need to train the person who will be the user of the proposed system. They are the clerk who will be in charge of the VAT computations of the clients and the encoders who will use the client information database.. These need to train and be oriented so that they would not be lost in operating the new system, since they are used to do their task manually. Hands-on training will be conducted with the aid of a manuals so thet the user can refer to them in the future. They will be oriented on the purpse of the systemk and of its proper use. Also, they will be reminded of the dangers like invalid encoding and unauthorized accesing the system. The training period for the Users will take one week. Conversions and Changeover Plan The installation of a local area network in the VAT Department and the conversion from manual to automated system will take three months before completion. The installation of the cables that would connect the three offices in the Management and the creation of the 201 Employee Database will be implemented first. Upon its completion, only then can the automated Payroll, Recruitment and Hiring processes begin since these processes need the said database Users of the system will be trained by the network and systems administrators on how to operate the system so they can adopt to the immediate change Security and Back-up Plan In the current system, all payroll preparations and employee records filing are done manually. Anyone can have easy access to these documents and no back¬ups of such records are stored.
