These actions quickly occur at the beginning of the story, where he and Roderigo try to arrest Othello by informing the marriage between Desdemona and Othello to Desdemona’s father. Act 1, Scene 1, Line 67-73: “Call up her father, Rouse him. Make after him, poison his delight, Proclaim him in the streets. Incense her kinsmen, And though he in a fertile climate dwell, Plague him with flies; though that his joy be joy, Yet throw such changes of vexation on’t As it may lose some colour.” On the Other side, Othello act as an extreme opposite character comparing to Iago. He, the one who have great power from the armies’ militarily, and the one that is extremely valuable and significant to Venice due to his skill as a soldier and leader.
