Also in case of an emergency or a simple injury occurred, there were first aid facilities located where necessary. The WorkSafe practices that I saw at CBH were correct safety gear was worn i.e. safety boots, safety glasses, helmets, masks and ear muffs. Also machines are not allowed to run unless the exhaust/dust fan was on, otherwise the machine would jam with dust and eventually blow up, and electrical wires were overhead head and out of reach, plus they were covered. Another practice was there were safety meetings every two months, and safety issues would be discussed. f. There was only one WorkSafe practice that was disregarded that I saw at CBH, and that was an air pressure hose was laid out across the floor. I didn’...
