...s. We were both pleased that it was a girl. We decided that two is enough for us. A year after Naomi was born I started working as a cleaning lady at a nearby hotel. Anthony worked at a car dealership for five years, when he saw the opportunity to open up a Harley Davidson Shop. We both loved the idea of that so we went for it. We had saved up some money but saving money is hard to do when you have a 3-year-old, and a 1-year-old child. The first three years after we made the decision were rough. I was still working at the hotel trying to keep a steady income because starting up the shop was a lot harder then I thought it was going to be. We struggled a lot. It was hard to come home after the long days at work. I quit working at the hotel and started working at the Harley Davidson Shop. It was a lot different then the hotel. Instead of cleaning I was managing everything. My husband worked very hard. One of his best friends bought half of the company cause it was too much for us to handle. Shortly after that things got to be a lot better. We were paying off a lot of our loans, the kids were in elementary so there was less day care to pay for, and we moved into our first house. Anthony and I decided to get matching tattoos on our 10th year anniversary. I didn’t want anything noticeable and anything that I would regret. We both got the Chinese symbol for eternal love on our ring fingers underneath the ring so its hidden. Very few people know we have the tattoos, so it’s a nice sort of reminder of what our life was like.
