There are some cases in which the criminal is put in jail but the family of the lost loved one wants more closure and to see the criminal go through the same thing the victim did I these cases capitol punishment can certainly help the family get over the hard time and move on with there life in an easier fashion. Capitol punishment also wipes out any chances of having to deal with the same criminal again.
