There are many conveniences in watching a movie on television rather than in the theater. One of the most obvious is that watching a movie on television doesn’t require going anywhere. Being able to sit at home to watch a movie is much better than having to drive to a theater. Another advantage is that there is no waiting in line when watching a movie on television. Cost is also a bonus to viewing from home. To see a movie in theaters, you have to buy an outrageously priced ticket, while at home you only have to pay for the cable connection. Food and drinks are much cheaper at home compared to the small fortune theater refreshments cost. On television, you can watch both new and old movies compared to the only new movies available at the theater. Also there are no noisy people around when viewing a movie on television. Lastly, movies on television are recordable. This allows you to record movies that you don’t have time to watch or to view your favorites whenever you choose. These advantages have made watching movies on television a popular choice. Watching a movie in the theater has advantages as well.
