However, personally, I defined computer as a helpful tools to enhance my work and also as a device to develop my ability in different areas including social activity. Therefore, it is not just a machine to do calculations or as a storage but also as a device to improve human ability. Moreover, also on the lecture notes, a diagram about how a general-purpose computer operates do emphasize on how simple a computer works. Most of those who are not familiar with computer must think that it has a complicated way but actually it is very simple if we understand how it works properly, just as displayed in the diagram.
