Sebastian is in a panic trying to find her, in his way is his sister Kathryn. Kathryn sees Sebastian all flustered up and no’s exactly what’s is wrong with him. She confronts him about how he lost his will power to be able to hurt an innocent girls feelings. Sebastian calls up Greg, and Greg lies to Sebastian at first about were Annette is. Sebastian then brings up Greg’s homosexual tendencies and threatens his reputation, Greg tells Sebastian were Annette is located. Annette is one her way back home to Kansas, she feels there is nothing left for her at Manchester Prep. Sebastian dashes to the airport were Annette is. As Annette rides patiently up the escalader, Sebastian awaits her arrival at the top. Annette is impressed with Sebastian attempted to stop her from leaving. When they arrive back at Sebastian aunts house the both have passionate sex with each other that they both have been waiting for. They now have true feelings for each other and their not ashamed to express them. The next day Sebastian waited for Kathryn in her bed room. They speak about the bet that was made and if he was successful yet. Sebastian had reached his goal he got Annette in bed, so Kathryn was thinking he had come to see her to make arrangements for his prize. Sebastian did not want to have sex with Kathryn, this confused her because he has wanted to sleep with her for the longest. He passes up the opportunity to have sex with Kathryn, this doesn’t make her happy. Kathryn saw the tear in Sebastian eye and read him like a book, she knew he had deep feelings for Annette. Kathryn is jealous about her brother having a loved one. Sebastian is willing to take that risk, his love for Annette is too strong. Kathryn’s words later impact Sebastian’s thoughts because he tells Kathryn that he is planning on telling Annette everything later. Sebastian and Annette meet up and he has something important to tell her. Sebastian says he doesn’t love her and it was all a game. He tells her it was a bet and all he wanted to do was sleep with her. Annette is completely distort after hearing this from Sebastian. At that point all Sebastian was caring about was his reputation at the school, not thinking about her feelings. After Sebastian is done telling Annette his lie about how he doesn’t love her he runs into Kathryn. Kathryn once again tells Sebastian how stupid he is to let love go, and all he is to her is nothing but a little play toy. Sebastian realizes what he is putting Annette through and he tries one last attempt to get her back. Sebastian is also putting himself through an emotional imbalance by saying one moment he loves her and then the next he doesn’t. The truth of the matter is he loved her from the start and to lose her because of this dumb bet is meaningless. Sebastian can not get in touch with her by phone, so he goes over to Annette’s mothers house and demands to speak with her. Annette’s mother tells Sebastian she is not home and his only request was to giver her his journal. This little note book is filled with the information that hides no lies. Sebastian’s journal was his most prized possession, his sister Kathryn has always wanted to get her hands on it, but was never successful. When Annette gets the journal she opens it up and discovers the truth, she finally understands what has been going on. The next day Kathryn calls up Ronald and tells him that Sebastian hit her, but that’s not all, she also tells him that Sebastian had sex with Cecile. Cecile is a girl that Ronald is in love with and he gets furious when he finds out. While all that is going on Sebastian is out wandering the streets of New York, he is thinking to himself that he has lost Annette for ever. Ronald is set on a mission to find Sebastian and confront him about what he has done. Ronald all of a sudden spots Sebastian and gets all up in his face about what he did. Annette all of a sudden is walking around looking for Sebastian. Ronald and Sebastian start throwing punches and they start fighting. Annette shows up and sees the two men fighting and rushes over to them to intervene. Her attempt failed, she was thrown into the middle of traffic, Sebastian looks up and sees Annette lying in the middle of the street. A car is speeding directly towards her, Sebastian jumps up and pushes her out of the way in just the right amount of time. The car strikes Sebastian instead of Annette. Sebastian’s last words to Annette were “ I love you”. The beginning of the school year at Manchester Prep was a sad one. It started off with the funeral of Sebastian Valmont. Kathryn is in the rest room preparing for her speech in front of the school, in there she meets Annette for the first time. Annette is the kind one and introduces herself to Kathryn. Annette no’s everything about Kathryn at this point, but Kathryn no’s nothing about her. Annette tells Kathryn how sorry she is about her brother, and Kathryn seems to blow it off. Kathryn is know up in front of the school and giving her speech about her brother. She is going on about how good of a person he was and the things he accomplished.
