How does society dictates images of beauty and what are the consequences?
... woman with great make up who is wearing bra and underwear. This company or same companies never advertise their products by a cute chubby girl. Watching these advertisements doesn’t motivate me to go and buy these products; instead it makes me to think about my shape and my appearance. So by seeing these media seductive images everywhere and everyday we cant help ourselves not to be inundated by these images of beauty as it says in “pop culture is destroying true beauty” “open a magazine, closely watch a movie or TV show, and you cant help but be inundated with images of perfect people.” Peer pressure is also another important factor. Many women have cosmetic surgeries, laser surgeries, or go on some controlled diets that seek to eliminate even the healthy fat from their body. Although these problems may seem small but in fact these are not just harmful for our physical health, but also for our emot...
